Sterile presentation
Confirm whether the point of use requires supplied sterile presentation, a defined transfer route or a non-sterile workflow accepted by the facility SOP.
Application guidance
A site-specific framework for evaluating sterile presentation, transfer, frame access, liquid handling and qualification needs for GMP Grade A/B cleaning workflows.

GMP Grade A/B workflow
Keep sterile presentation, transfer controls and the critical-area interface in the same evaluation frame.
Reference workflow diagram; final transfer, airflow and classification controls remain subject to the site SOP and qualification.
Direct answer
Grade A/B mop selection is a site-specific qualification decision. Start with the approved cleaning procedure, contamination-control strategy, sterile presentation and transfer workflow, then verify the exact mop, frame and configuration-specific documentation.
Selection framework
Confirm whether the point of use requires supplied sterile presentation, a defined transfer route or a non-sterile workflow accepted by the facility SOP.
Review the room, operation, surfaces, access limits and change procedure together. A mop product page is not a room or regulatory certification.
Compare the exact construction, nominal weight and format. Particle, lint, pickup and coverage claims require product-specific evidence.
Define outer-package handling, storage, transfer, opening point and waste handling before selecting the presentation.
Record usable frame width, attachment geometry, reach, clearance and operator handling. Fit should be confirmed, not inferred from a family name.
Use the intended disinfectant, concentration, contact time and route in the review. Chemical compatibility and final suitability remain configuration- and site-dependent.
Workflow decision
The current Polyester Knit Mop evidence set lists sterile and non-sterile rows as separate part numbers. Sterile rows carry a recorded double-layer vacuum-sealed, gamma-irradiated presentation; the public evidence does not confirm dose, SAL, expiry or storage limits.
A non-sterile configuration may be appropriate where the site procedure accepts it. That decision belongs to the facility risk assessment and SOP, not to the product family label.
